I would love to see a plugin for comparing Excel Workbooks. My company uses Excel extensively and it would be great to be able to see the difference between versions of the same file. Cells could be listed in a single column displaying current value and formula. Not sure how to handle multiple sheets or graphs. I really only need values and formulas.

Thanks for the suggestion. Excel comparisons are on the wishlist.
Just so you know, there is a tool I've used on occasions called ExcelCompare that works fairly well.

I want to field test any XLS comparison plug should you decide to create it. I am forced to use Excel for managing text elements that would be much better served by a database or even Word, but "hammers and nails", etc.
One specific feature I think basic to such a comparison, after specification of the "key", is cell-wise merging: if the rows are synchronized by the values in column 3, then I want to move the contents of cell x5 from the left to the right.
Thank you for your attention
