FTP Profile dialog disabled

I'm finding that when I pull up Tools > FTP Profiles that all of the controls on the FTP Profiles window become disabled when I click "New" or attempt to edit an existing profile.

I've not been able to find a reference to this in the Search. Ideas?

OS: Centos 5 (Linux), all packages up to date
BC: 3.1.11 Pro for Linux/Windows

Hello,

Could you go into more detail on which controls are disabled when you take specific actions. We do disable some on purpose, for example:
If you click New, we disable the selection of another FTP profile on the left until the user Saves or Cancels the "new" profile (lower right controls).
If you edit an existing profile, you must Save or Cancel before you can use the New buttons or select a new profile.

Alright, I've played with this some more. I can't reproduce the original problem consistently, which would leave all the controls disabled (and I mean each and every one including Cancel). As a software engineer I know how frustrating intermittent problems are, so I'll leave it be until I can reproduce the problem consistently.
