Can I change access permissions of a file with Beyond Compare ?
I haven't found out how up until now and its slightly irritating because its the only thing I still need a ftp program to do.
Help anyone ?
If it is not possible at the moment - can i suggest it as a feature for a future version ?

This isn't possible right now, but it is on the wishlist.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I miss the "chmod"-functionality, too. Is there any progress yet?
I'm using German version of Beyond Compare 2.2.2.

Is there any news on the timeframe for CHMOD? (Because then I can finally kick out my old FTP-app)
Thanks in advance,

CHMOD is still on our list, but we haven't had a chance to make any progress on it yet.

Hi,
I am using BC 2.3.1. Is Chmod feature in this version? I would like to have it for set file permission after the rsync or copy the file.
Thanks!

CHMOD is not in version 2.3.1. It is still on our todo list.

CHMOD didn't make it into version 2.4.3.
The todo list/wish list is part of our internal bug tracking database. We don't have a public version of it, although we're happy to discuss upcoming features.
CHMOD still is on our wish list for the future, but I don't know when it will be added.
