Unix / BSD / Linux

I think BC is fantastic but I only have a few Microsoft machines left here in the office and at some point in time, those will also be retired. All the other machines are running some flavor of Unix on various hardware architecutes.

Is there any chance of a Unix version of some sort. Even if it's x86 only, I'd have one less reason to occasionally use Microsoft Windows.

We are looking into a Linux port as part of the v3 development, but I can't say much more than that right now. I haven't tested it, but I have heard it works pretty well using Crossover Office (http://www.codeweavers.com/). It'll probably work under the stock Wine (http://www.winehq.com) distribution, but I haven't heard one way or the other.

BC is written in Delphi, so we don't have plans to port to any OSes or platforms besides Linux/x86 and Windows.
