Actually, that isn't utf-8.

We had issues when it came to using impex to take our old forum and import it over into a utf-8 database. The import works fine when left at the defaults, and still handles multiple languages well.

The import works fine when left at the defaults, and still handles multiple languages well.Actually, there are ways to convert vBulletin from non-UTF to UTF-8 - the Desktop Publishing Forum (where I am a regular) recently upgraded their vBulletin and went to UTF-8; it took some fiddling, but it worked. The admins found the needed information on the vBulletin support forums - you might want to poke around there. You could import first, then convert, maybe.
