Delay when copying

When I'm comparing the files on my pc with those on a laptop, I synchronise by either doing a 'Copy->' or 'copy-<', which works fine, but probably 4/5 times it delays by about 3 seconds before returning control to me.

The PC's are linked via a small network, and I have no problems with any other software.

The version 2.1 beta has changes in how it copies files. You might want to give it a try to see if it helps. Also, check to see if you have backups enabled.
