For each of 10 folders, I want a single zip having the same basename and containing that folder and its files. What's the quickest way to do this in BC? Thanks.

Hi Chris,
You'll need to create the 10 zip files. In BC you can use the "Actions > New Folder" command and add .zip to the end of the name to create a zip file. Then set the folder and corresponding zip file as base folders and copy the files.

When I try to change folder to start the second, BC wants to stop the first.

Hello Chrisjj,
Once you've started the transfer from one side into the zip, you will need to leave that tab open until it is finished. Open a new tab to start a new comparison (between your folder and your zip) and then copy into the zip to start zipping again.
You could also use Copy To Folder instead of setting base folders to create zips. Simply select what you want zipped, select Copy To Folder, select your destination and manually type "myfilename.zip" at the end to zip into a file called "myfilename.zip"

Open a new tab to start a new comparison (between your folder and your zip)I find I either have to save+load the session or copy+paste the parameters. Is there a diect way to open a copy of the current session?
You could also use Copy To Folder instead Sounds very good - thanks, will try.

No there isn't, but I agree that it would be a useful addition. I would suggest that adding a "Duplicate" command to the context menu of a tab would be ideal. It could also be on the Session dropdown menu as "Duplicate Session" (right after the "Open Session" would be a good spot for it).

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll add it to our wish list.
