how to exclude this in the filter or change it in the BCscript text so that hidden files and folders are highlighted in the search

Hello,

Go to the Session menu -> Session Settings, Other Filters tab. Select DOS Attributes and you can Exclude Hidden items here. This will hide them from view, unless you then set Suppress Filters (at which point, they will be shown in teal). Set your filters to either Include or Exclude based on the Hidden attribute to show and search on that subset.
