One item that will take Beyond Compare over the top of all others is being able to sync an MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) device with your HDD or network drive. I have been trying to find a sync software that can do this fast and correct but have not been able too.
I hate and don't trust the iTunes and Media player software as they do not sync my files the way I want.
I have been using Beyond Compare for quite some time now and would love to see this in the next update.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've added it to our Customer Wishlist. Our wishlist is not scheduled development, but a place our developers go to for ideas for future features.

I would like to second this request. I am so used to being able to use BC to synchronize between my devices and my RAID that when I got my new Xoom tablet (which only has MTP support) I'm really at a loss as to how to manage my files. I'm back to relying on Windows Explorer (Ha!). Please add this functionality!

Thanks for the feedback and device example. I'll add it to our notes.

I've added it to our Customer Wishlist.
No need Aaron, since it's already been there for three years: http://www.scootersoftware.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=3261

MediaMonkey can do this flexibly, and JRiver Media Jukebox reliably.

I don't see a Xoom tablet as an example device in that forum post. MTP support has been on our Customer Wishlist for quite some time, but we still collect example information from our customers when it comes up.

Indeed, and nor will you find it in the suggestion to which you replied "I've added it to our Customer Wishlist." That suggestion was for MTP support.

You mean my post from 2009?
Suggesting that there is "no need" to make notes two years later does not make logical sense or is particularly useful feedback; I already documented it two years ago and I'm not going to go back and delete perfectly reasonable customer feedback. We often append multiple user requests to the same Customer Wishlist entry to help cover multiple use cases, such as a Creative Zen or disliking iTunes sync solutions.
Suggesting workarounds such as MediaMonkey is helpful if BC3 does not meet current needs. Thanks for sharing.

Yes. Sorry - rather than three years I should have written one year.

Fine, but I think you'll find the response "I've added it to our Customer Wishlist" does give the impression it wasn't there.

These are in fact the same use case, but as one of those users, I'll say the more votes the better! :)

You're welcome!
And further to that, people might like to know that I have found BC very successful in transferring audio (though not playlists) to devices with MSC - the alternative to MTP. Sadly Xoom is not one such.
