Hi,

Is there a keyboard accelerator that will open a tab and immediately put it in "Text Compare" mode, without going through the "Start New Session" phase? 95% of the times I do a compare is between two text files/text literals and to me it doesn't make sense to always have to click a button to get there.

I tried to find such an accelerator, or indeed create one, but was unable.

Thanks in advance!

Alt, S, N, T, Enter (type them one at a time)

Thanks!

That's quite a handful. :) Any chance the sub-options of "New Session" could appear in the "Customize Commands" dialog, please?

I would gladly make Ctrl+T open a Text Compare Session immediately.

Miguel,

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll add it to our wish list for a future release of Beyond Compare.
