Mouse select left/right

Can one get the effect of keyboard SHIFT+Left/Right using the mouse? I cannot find these commands on the menus.

Keyboard SHIFT+Left/Right shifts an existing selection in the specified direction. There is no mouse-accessible command that does precisely that.

If you want to select both sides using the mouse, click the center column. Or, you can click and drag across the center column to select both sides.

I want to select all files on one side.

I want to select all files on one side.

There is no mouse-only command that does that, although most subsequent commands applied to the selection let you limit the scope to one side.
