Deleting a file from /both/ FTP sides in one operation causes an Unable to Delete error.

Likewise the same on both 'file system' (sic) sides causes an OS Function Failed error.

But deleting a folder containing a file on both 'file system' sides is OK.

Hello Chrisjj,

Both sides are an FTP? Is S:\ an FTP?
A full screen screenshot may help show more information as to what happened. If you are uncomfortable posting that information on the public forum, please email us at support@scootersoftware.com

In the first case, yes.

No. As I said "Likewise the same on both 'file system' (sic) sides"

I think you'll find this fault is easy for you to reproduce. If not, let me know.

If the test is to select an aligned pair of files in a Folder Compare session, press delete, make sure both the Left and Right checkboxes are checked in the Delete dialog, and then process the delete: it works fine on my system and we have not had any other reports of this behavior.

I tried with the Recycle Bin option both enabled and disabled.

What is S:\? An internal harddrive, external USB, a drive letter assigned to a network storage device? What drive was it aligned to? Does this happen for you for all files?

Can you delete them if selected individually?
If not, can you delete them in My Computer?
