[Build 454 on Win2K SP4]
Crashed while attempting to move some files between an NTFS and a FAT32 partition.
I used the built-in facility to email the bug report to crash at scootersoftware dot com, subject "Beyond Compare Pro 3.0.0.454 crash (EAccessViolation): Access violation at address 00554E02 in module 'BCompare.exe'. Write of address 00000004.", sent Tue, 06 May 2008 08:53:41 -0400.
I didn't mention it in the report, but the files were all .tar.gz or .gz, in case that's relevant.
I tried removing .gz and .tar.gz from the archive associations, but that made no difference.
Although moving the files failed, I had no problem copying them and then deleting them from the source partition within BC3.
