453 Save Snapshot offers wrong side...

This is not a bug.
Save Snapshot is a global command, not dependent on the current view. It is significant that it is on the Tools menu and is not a folder compare Action. As a convenience, when a folder comparison is the current view, the Save Snapshot dialog offers those base folders as quick choices (with the first one as the default).
What is selected in the folder comparison is irrelevant -- Save Snapshot does not act on the selection. And what if a selection is on one side and keyboard focus is on the other?
I will record this as a suggestion that the folder compare's current side (keyboard focus) affects the initial selection in a Save Snaphot dialog that opens over it.

Hmm... then I wonder how it got onto the fix list. ;)

Yup, that is the problem I'm reporting.

Dunno... I didn't know such was possible. How does one get there?

Chris' initial response to a request isn't always our final determination.

If you mean that you want to create a snapshot of only the selected items, we have no plans to support that.

Select a line on both sides. Ctrl+click the left side.
