In Beyond Compare 2, I would enter for instance ftp://username:password@domain.com in a comparison, and it would work perfectly.

It would appear I am having occasional trouble with this in 3, instead popping up a password box, whereas I have to reenter the password I just gave it.

There is a long-term-known issue with a superfluid password dialog box using SFTP. It was reported in this thread:

I haven't tried with normal FTP, whether it's the same issue. If yes, you could try to quit the dialog using ESC key. The login is then performed correctly although. :cool:
