Could you remove this bar period, or reduce it to less than the 5s it takes me to post a bug report copy'n'pasted from my local list? ;)

We can take a look at some of those controls. Some of them are defaulted in place a security measures (spam attacks, etc.).

We are still testing with which ones we want to keep. I think we'll leave the timer as it is for now, but as we look into converging our forums we'll test some of those changes here first during the beta.
