Hi!

I recently got build 452 ending in an endless loop with 100% cpu-usage on Win XP:
open a Folder Compare (may be empty, no need to load something).
choose Folder Compare Report... from the Session menu.
as layout choose Side-by-side.
output to Printer.
now click on Print Preview.
==> an uncomplete window opens and BC3 hangs.
Can anybody reproduce this?

(All other layouts and session types do work properly when using Print Preview)

Bye

Hi Christoph,

Thanks for the bug report.

I haven't been able to reproduce the folder report print preview crash in BC3 build 452. Please email us (support@scootersoftware.com) with a copy of your current BC3 settings and we'll try to reproduce the hang.

There is a repeatable crash in build 452 for file report print preview from the text compare. If you print preview with "Ignore Unimportant Differences" on, it can crash. Leaving "Ignore Unimportant Differences" off doesn't crash. The text compare print preview should be fixed in our next release.

Build 452 will crash when you select print preview from the text compare and "ignore unimportant differences" is turned on. However, I haven't been able to reproduce the print preview crash from Folder Viewer.

Thanks for the Settings, Christoph.

I was able to get a hang. I'll look into it more and make a tracker entry.
