excel compare error

Hello, would like help with comparing excel files.
Since the built-in format only looks at the first sheet, downloaded two formats form the website (thanks).
Am using the format for text, no formulas, and getting an error, see attached file.

Another strange thing happened, after following the instructions to recreate the file formats after deleting them in error: The descriptions did not match the highlighted file format.

Thanks for reporting the problem. Did you send the crash report to us? If you didn't, please try reproducing the crash and sending it.

Also, do you have Microsoft Excel installed on your system? The formats from the web site require MS Excel be installed to work correctly.

Last, from your screen shot, are you running Windows Vista 64-bit?
