Modified date does not change when saving changed files

What I'd like is that when I'm using the Text Compare and change a file then save it, the resulting file's modified date changes to match the moment in time where the file was last modified. This was the behaviour in BC2 and every other text editor I've used on Windows and Linux.

When a file is modified, its modified date should change.

Are other Linux users encountering this problem?

Thanks for the reminder on this bug. Sorry it slipped through the cracks earlier. I just verified this on Cirrus build 440. I added this to our bug tracker and we'll work to get this fixed.

Great, thanks. I should have mentioned that it was still unresolved in build 440 to save you the effort of checking.
