Comparing Files

I have a process that builds some output, I want to compare the output but the problem is each separate process doesn't create the output on the same lines. The output will be the same, just on different lines, is there anyway I can get beyond compare to compare them?

Order is important. If your data is out of order, then you can create an external conversion process to order your data. We also have an external rule that will perform a basic "Sort" on the data as well available here:

Any command line can be called in a Custom rule under the Conversion tab. You can download the HTMLTidy rule as an example of how an external program is called and the output is given back formatted.
