(this is regarding 2.4.3)
If I set my Regional & Language Options, Advanced tab, Language for non-Unicode programs to Chinese (PRC) then BC can read chinese filenames but not:

This is when I do Compare Contents: Binary. The gray folders mean ok. The white folders mean something is wrong (which I find out is the filename dilemma).
If I change back to English then it CAN read those 7 above filenames... but then I get ?????? for the chinese filenames. Total dilemma.
