Hi,

How can I get difference in read-only property to show on mismatch?

I've had limited success working with read-only inside filters as it shows witch files are read-only at the moment.

What I really want is for read-only flag to be a factor in the comparison. I still want the rest of the comparison to be binary. How do I manage that?

The advanced option you want to turn on is under the Session menu -> Comparison Control -> advanced tab -> "Independent timestamp, content comparison results".

This will actually affect the Read-only flag checking as well. We have changed the wording (and layout) of these options in BC3 to make this more clear.

For this to work, I also had to check read-only in "Comparison Control" --> File Attributes.
