Comparing non-existent folder

I repost what a French guy asked in the French forum:

If you press Ctrl-F5, BC2 compares all files and directories windows left and right. If a directory does not exist on one side (eg on the right one), BC2 is still analyzing recursively the whole existing folder (the left one in this situation). It is a waste of time since the directory on the right side does not exist, it is no longer appropriate to continue the comparison test.

Tested with de BC2.52 english version.

Thanks again for your help with the French forums.

Beyond Compare will only analyze the contents of folders that exist on one side if they are expanded.

If the folder exists on one side and it is not expanded, then Beyond Compare will not analyze the contents.

Also, we are considering a Mac version, but we aren't working on a Mac version right now.
