I'm trying to use BC to sync a folder on my notebook to a folder on either a second partition or a second hard drive on my desktop. I can't find a way to do that as the drive letters for either the partition or the drive don't show up. Is it possible?
Runnng WinXP Pro on both through a wireless Linksys network. Drives set to share.
Thanks,
Larry

BC2 doesn't work with partitions, only drives, folders, files. As long as you can see the drives/folders using the Windows Explorer, BC2 should be able to access them. Can you see those other folders using the Windows Explorer?
If they are on another computer and you are sharing the drives, you will probably have to "Map" the shared drive to a local drive letter.

Thanks. Your comment made me look at how I had the drive/partition shared and saw that although I had it set to share with others I needed to also set up New Share. Now all works well.

It's possible to access remote shares without mapping explicitly to a drive letter, for example just enter:
e.g. \\192.168.0.0\ShareName\FolderName
or
\\ComputerName.domain\ShareName\FolderName
in the Base Folder box, "\FolderName" is optional. The account you are using on the local machine must have the necessary permissions to access the share.

I believe BC2 is using standard Windows File I/O calls to perform file/directory functions, so as long as your access rights are sufficient, there should be no problem.
\\192.168.0.0\ShareName works for me, as does \\ComputerName\ShareName. I don't have access to multiple domains so I cannot comment on the \\ComputerName.domain\ShareName, but I don't see why it would not.
