is there a "find text in files" command/plug-in?

Is there some way to do a find of some text string across files? And if so, can it then display only those files? As a display filter maybe? (similar to show only orphans - but instead, show only files that match)? Or would this be a wish list item?

There isn't a way to do this in the current version of Beyond Compare.

Searching across multiple files and filtering files based on text contents is on our wish list for a future release.
