To save the signs

I have looked at this with no success. Is it possible to save the state of the comparison that you have done? I mean the equal/not equal signs. Here is the scenario. You have 2 large folders with many files to compare. You select them and do a binary comparison. Then you stop the operation and want to resume later. When I save a session, it doesn't save the equal signs so that I can binary compare the rest later.

Beyond Compare doesn't save the comparison status when you close the program. A saved session only saves settings, not the results of a comparison.

If you want to save the results of a comparison, generate a report of the results. The report commands are Actions|Folder Comparison Report and Actions|File Differences Report.
