BC2 and simdiff

we are working with BC2 and it's working out great for us.
now we want to go a step further, and found simdiff (http://www.ensoftcorp.com/SimDiff/Overview.gen.html).

Could we have it work together as a plugin in BC2?

You can probably launch SimDiff using from the Actions|Open With menu. To configure an Open With command, go to the Open With section of Tools|Options.

The Open With command won't be able to display the SimDiff comparison results in the Folder Viewer.

The other option might be to write a BC Plug-in that wraps around SimDiff. Details on writing BC plug-ins are at the bottom of our plug-ins page at: http://www.scootersoftware.com/download.php?c=v2plugins
