Souce Control detection

How does source control detection work in 2.5 (build 240)?

I have tortoiseCVS, CVS is hosted on Unix... When I go to the source control set up screen, there is a "No Source Control providers detected" message in the list box, and no way to add/configure anything....

Am I missing something, or is there just no way to do this?

Sorry: meant to add that I've got tortoiseCVS using BC for file compares fine and that's a big plus right there.
