Warning: "Sample count per pixel does not [...]"

A warning dialog box appeared a few times while two directories where compared:

"Sample cound per pixel does not correspond to the given color scheme".

Seems like it appears while directory icons are coloured. Icons which should be blue/red appear white.

I have a screen shot at hand, if someone's interested.
