You can do PDF to PDF or DOC to DOC comparisons using PDF and MS Word rules on our Additional Rules page at:
http://www.scootersoftware.com/download.php?c=kb_morerules

We don't have an official rule for PDF to DOC or DOC to PDF comparison, but we do have one that you can download from:
http://www.scootersoftware.com/rules/PdfDoc2txt.zip

To use the rule, unzip the contents of the zip file to your Beyond Compare program directory. In Beyond Compare, use the Tools|Import Settings command and import the PdfDoc2Txt.xml file extracted from the zip.
