Is there any plans for a T-SQL plugin? Plus it would be great to connect to 2 sql servers to compare Stored Procedures, etc, and apply changes...
Just curious
Thanks

Thank you for making the suggestion.
An SQL Database comparison plug-in is on our request list, but given our current development schedule it will probably be a little while before we will be able to devote time to work on new plug-ins.
Some of our users have mentioned using tools from Red Gate Software for SQL comparison that might be worth considering. You can find their SQL tools at: http://www.red-gate.com/sql/summary.htm
Yes, this would rule. I do alot of MySQL compares and unfortunately its doesnt compare right...
If you script out the stored procedures using enterprise manager to individual text files, you can use Beyond Compare to compare them. I've been doing it for years.
Yes! Yes! SQL stored procedure comparisons would be an extremely time-saving tool.
(In fact, I just dropped in to see if there was a plug in available and found this post.)
Such a plug-in would certainly increase BC's user-base as even more developers would want to purchase copies.
Although it is possible to script sprocs to file and then use BC to compare them (which is useful, I agree), it would be much more useful to be able to compare two databases (as it is possible to compare two folders) to be able to easily see differences.
All the best, and thank you! for providing such a quality product! It's a pleasure to use BC.
