open BC from sendTo context menu

Hello,
I need to compare files in a clearcase view, i do not like the comparison machanism of this tool which is not able to merge like i'm usually do with BC.
Clearcase offers right context menu from explorer to send files to a specified application. I've added BC to the sendTo menu but always a new instance opens with the left side filled. Does anyone have an idea how to add the second sendTo to the right side?

You can integrate BC directly as ClearCase's diff utility by following the directions here: http://www.scootersoftware.com/support.php?c=kb_vcs.php

Adding support to the "Send To" menu would probably be much more complicated, and given the above information and our existing shell extension there probably isn't much point.

Bumping an old thread here. Is there any way to have "Select left file for compare" and "Compare to..." appear in the Clearcase explorer context menu? I need to compare files that are under cc with files that are not yet versioned.

If that's not possible is there any way to send to BC the left file without starting the guy and then start the guy (i am looking for some command line arguments that will allow me to do this:
bc.exe /selectleft left_filepath - this will not start the gui
bc.exe /comparewith right_filepath - this will start the gui and the left and right files will be compared)

It isn't possible to pass a left file selection, then a right file path as a separate command to launch BC.

I haven't heard from any users that have added BC to a Clearcase explorer context menu.

In the case you describe, you'll need to check out the Clearcase files to a working folder, then compare them to the files that are not versioned.
