Hex and File Viewer

When comparing two files, can I switch from Hex viewer to File viewer and viceversa?
I mean: if I am comparing 2 files handled by File viewer and, for any reason, I decide to compare them with Hex viewer (without changing their File type association with File viewer) is there a way to do that, possibly using a keyboard shortcut?

It isn't possible to switch between the File Viewer and the Hex Viewer. This is on our feature wish list.

Please put this at the top of your list. Also, please do not limit it to the Hex viewer; I should be able to chooose which viewer to use at anytime and for any set of files.
