Conversion form Word to text format

I have a problem with the conversion from word to text format. I have downloaded the plug-in from the beyond compare site.
The problem is that the conversion adds texts to files. After the conversion, the converted files are different. But when we open the original files in Word to compare them, there is no differences.
Did this problem ever occur to someone else and do you know how to make the conversion more constant?

This isn't a problem that I've run into before.

The MS Word conversion rule uses a vbscript to have Word save the documents as text, so I'm not sure what else can be done. If you're using some advanced formatting features, that might cause some of the differences.
