Hex Viewer - offset display and alignment

Is there a way to get the Hex viewer to show the hex offsets to the left of the file content (like line numbers for text files)?

Also, is there a way to indicate offsets within each file to start the comparison?

It isn't possible to specify an offset to start the comparison. It is on the wish list though. The only alignment options are None, Fast, or Complete as set in the Hex Viewer section of Tools|Options.

I added your suggestion for numbered Hex Offsets to the wish list. Right now the only offset listed is for the current byte that is displayed in the status bar at the bottom.
